Sire/Dam:
Rich History (IRE) ex Norwich Star (IRE)

DOB: 2023
Colour/Sex: Bay Gelding
Price:€70,000
SOLD

A lovely-looking individual with an exceptionally appealing pedigree, this well-bred horse is a half-brother to the Grade 1-winning hurdler Old Park Star and Grade 2 winner Chosen Mate.

His sire Rich History is a son of the world-leading Dubawi and comes from one of the most distinguished families in the stud book. Out of the exceptional broodmare Polished Gem, Rich History is a half-brother to multiple Group 1 winners including Kyprios, Search For A Song and Free Eagle, as well as several other Group and black-type performers. The family also has proven National Hunt credentials, making Rich History an exciting dual-purpose sire with exceptional depth to his pedigree.

Sire/Dam:
Nathaniel (IRE) ex Queens Cave (IRE)

DOB: 2023
Colour/Sex: Bay Gelding
Price: €125,000

SOLD

Very much not your typical first foal, this gelding has plenty of size and scope. Despite his frame, he showed real athleticism and was exceptionally light on his feet.

From a strong Derby sale, we were delighted to secure him at what we considered excellent value and bring him back to Ditcheat.

He is by a sire we are getting to know well and have become increasingly fond of. We look forward to seeing how this exciting young horse develops.

Sire/Dam:
Golden Horn (GB) ex Earth Amber (GB)

DOB: 2023
Colour/Sex: Bay Gelding
Price: £140,000
SOLD

He is a striking young gelding who possesses all the physical attributes you would hope to see in a future National Hunt performer.

His sire is rapidly establishing himself as one of the leading jumps stallions, having produced both a Triumph Hurdle winner and a Champion Hurdle winner in recent seasons. A racey-looking individual from a proven family, he is a half-brother to the black-type performer Luccia.

This son of Golden Horn is exceptionally athletic and a particularly fluent mover. He looks an ideal candidate for the £100,000 Goffs Bumper at Newbury and has the profile of a horse capable of progressing through the ranks.

Sire/Dam:
Passing Glance (GB) ex Full Lingakia (FR)

DOB: 2023
Colour/Sex: Bay Gelding
Price: £62,000
SOLD

A smart, athletic gelding who stood out at the sale and represented excellent value, we were delighted to secure him. His sire continues to produce high-class winners year after year and I particularly like the cross with this French family, which I believe adds an extra touch of class and quality as a future jumps performer.

Although a late foal, he is already well balanced and does not look the type that will take too long to come together physically, while still having plenty of scope to strengthen and mature over the coming months. This combination of athleticism, quality and further development to come makes him an exciting prospect.

Sire/Dam:
Jukebox Jury (IRE) ex Sixofone (IRE)

DOB: 2023
Colour/Sex: Grey Gelding
Price: €140,000
SOLD

He is a gorgeous son of Jukebox Jury who stood out on day two at the Goffs Land Rover Sale. A powerful individual with a straightforward temperament and a willing attitude.

A full brother to Scorpio Rising, a four-time winner over hurdles rated 137, making this a proven and successful family. In our opinion, he possesses even more natural class and presence than his accomplished sibling.

Physically, he looks the type to have a good bit of speed while also appreciating some ease in the ground.

He has all the attributes required and is an individual we are very excited about.

BALTHAZART (FR)

Sire/Dam:
Goliath Du Berlais (FR) ex La Chanceliere (FR)

DOB: 2023
Colour/Sex: Chesnut Gelding
Price: €210,000
SOLD

It's fair to say we had to push hard for this son of Goliath Du Berlais, but I wasn't leaving the sale without him. I've been keen to bring this exciting young sire to Ditcheat, and with good reason. A Grade 1-winning chaser himself, Goliath Du Berlais is producing some outstanding young stock and is very much the sire of the moment.

This gelding is a strong, well-bodied individual with an excellent walk. I believe we've bought a horse with the pace and forward-going attitude to hopefully bring some real speed back to Ditcheat.

He was purchased alongside Joey Logan, whose previous purchases include Caldwell Potter, Brighterdaysahead and Final Demand, and this was his standout pick of the sale. Hopefully, we've found a real rocket.
